The Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance 2001 is the primary legislation governing the recovery of finances by financial institutions in Pakistan [citation:5][citation:9]. It establishes Banking Courts with specialized jurisdiction over financial disputes and provides for speedy resolution of banking matters [citation:3][citation:5]. The Ordinance extends to the whole of Pakistan and overrides any inconsistent laws [citation:9].
For claims up to Rs. 50 million, file a suit in the Banking Court established under the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance 2001 [citation:5][citation:7].
